Embedded Software
SolStice has a highly skilled team of engineers who are capable of developing embedded
software for the microcontroller, DSP, & FPGA segments. This involves system architecture and
modular design, board bring-up, software-hardware debug and device driver development
(C and Assembler). Current tools and RTOS's for embedded systems and CPUs are used are; IAR
(Workbench, SMX RTOS, Segger embOS), Keil Systems C Compilers, TI DSP tools (uVision), uC/OS
II/III along with the standard revision control and release.
Typically the current microcontrollers being used by our clients (and us) are; ARM (7/9/11,
CortexM3), Atmel AVR/SAM7/SAM9, Renesas SH-1/2/3/4, 8051 based, T.I. MSP430, CC5504/5 DSP
& Microchip PIC.
